Measuring Our Impact
Transparency and accountability are fundamental to cYp. We are committed to demonstrating the tangible outcomes of our work and continuously striving for greater impact. We regularly track and share our progress through:
Youth Skill Development Assessments: Monitoring growth in communication, leadership, and creative arts proficiency through evaluating improvements of grade participant self-assessments and mentor observations.
Project Outcome Documentation: Showcasing the visible changes in communities resulting from youth-led initiatives through before-and-after visuals and community feedback.
- Participant Feedback & Testimonials: Gathering direct insights from youth on their experiences and personal growth through surveys, interviews, and recorded statements
Annual Impact Reports: Providing comprehensive overviews of our achievements, financial stewardship, and future goals to our donors and stakeholders.
How We Work
At cYp, we champion a hands-on, youth-driven approach. We empower young people (ages 13-18) by providing educational and life experiences that build essential skills and foster positive change. We achieve this by:
Diverse Creative Expression: Engaging youth in music production, creative writing, visual arts (including community murals), and digital media creation, allowing them to find and amplify their unique voices.
Communication & Facilitation Training: Equipping youth with the skills to articulate their ideas, lead discussions, and effectively collaborate within groups and their wider community, preparing them to lead public dialogues.
Hands-on Civic Action: Guiding youth in identifying community needs and leading tangible projects, such as neighborhood beautification, that create real-world impact and foster a deep sense of civic responsibility.
We collaborate closely with local communities, dedicated volunteers, and generous partners to ensure our efforts are deeply rooted and widely impactful.
