Who is Vox?
You might see me cheering on our incredible teens at Cincy Youth Productions events, or even busting a move on the sidelines. My name is Vox, and it’s not just a cool name – it’s what I’m all about! Indeed, my very name means “Voice,”and that’s the superpower I want every young person in Cincinnati to discover within themselves.
Amplifying Voices Through Debate & Dialogue
At Cincy Youth Productions (cYp), we firmly believe everyone has a voice that deserves to be heard. And truly, I know a thing or two about making voices heard! My favorite areas are facilitation and debate. For instance, you should see our Youth Conclaves! I absolutely love watching our teens lead those discussions, guiding their peers through complex topics, and respectfully debating ideas. Moreover, it’s not merely about winning an argument; it’s about learning to listen, to articulate your thoughts clearly, and to truly engage with different perspectives. And guess what? We even record those debates and discussions! Imagine being able to listen back and hear how much you’ve grown, how powerfully you presented your case, or how thoughtfully you helped a group reach a consensus. Ultimately, that’s real impact!
Beyond Words: Creativity in Motion
However, it’s not all serious discussions, either. You know how much I love to dance! Movement, therefore, is another incredible way to express yourself, to tell a story without saying a word. At cYp, we embrace all kinds of creative expression – from music composition and production, to spoken word poetry, and yes, even dance. Furthermore, it’s all about finding your unique way to communicate and connect.
